Carlos - Week 2
I started working on the combat commandments and the moveset for the sword and shield. I'd say they're finalized until I start coding and start to see what works and what doesn't.
The goal was to have something that works for both PvE and PvP, so I took some principles from fighting games, while also taking mobs into account.
It's gonna be heavily combo-based, with a limited, but versatile move set, and I think it will be fun for both newbies and pros.
But turns out the prototypes are on paper, so I gotta figure out a way to do a good prototype out of this, without coding anything. That's a bigger challenge honestly, due to how much of the system depends on the timing of the inputs.
Other than that, we kept discussing more stuff from the document, the usual. We also recruited Alan for art. He had a great skeleton enemy design, that was perfect for the game.
