Miguel Week 5
Hi,
This week we finally got around to splitting implementation tasks to get programming the basics. I'm focusing on enemies for now. My first step was to remove all colliders from maps and use a dynamically created NavMesh instead. I then started coding the first enemy itself. I'm only on the starting stage for now , I managed to see how the NavMesh navigation holds up with several agents, it's pretty nice! I'm struggling with some networking thing regarding the enemies, I hope I get that settled soon. Next week is going to be all about coding more stuff for me while keeping in mind that we are also being asked to conduct a workshop with our focus groups, I'll try and keep it in mind in the hope I can think of something fun.
Almost forgot to mentioned I filmed a 15min tutorial explaining how to use the combat system I designed to add more attacks and create move sets. It felt silly to record a YouTube tutorial but fun at the same time, hope it helps out my colleagues. I'm kinda proud of how easy the system made creating moves.
I'm not feeling like much of a blogger today, so I'm going to keep this one brief, see ya next week!
