Carlos - Week 6


I've been working on combat. I've added animations, tweaks their speed, and changed up the combos.

Now there's a 3 hit combo, a dash, a dash attack, and a charge. We still need to get the parry working.

We were gonna have certain inputs that when you were locked, pushing in the direction of the opponent (or the opposite) would do different attacks. While the nature of the game (not being behind the back) already raised some feasibility issues, I fully decided to drop this given most people will play on a keyboard, and these direction inputs will be difficult.

We are also unsure if we should have a block right now. I'm for a block and a lock-on, with some guard break mechanic, but there's merit to only having a parry for fast-paced gameplay. We're gonna try parry only for the workshop and see what happens.

I'm working on the P3D project and the Bullet Hell Jam for Gamedev Técnico, but I'm gonna find some time to tweak the project further.
