day - 31 signing off


Hello,

What a day! Today was 100% working on the project, I added more models, several polish features, added background decor, post-processing and skybox. Fixed bugs as necessary, regular quickly tidying up a project stuff.

The final build is currently being processed, and I will soon post the game. The deadline was delayed 4 days, but I think we are going to leave it as is. Maybe I'll get some play testers and tweak a few things, but nothing major.

I think those of you who have followed the devlogs so far are in for quite a shock when testing the game. Since most graphical updates were made today, the game looks super different now.

Overall I think this project was a success, I got to learn unreal, and I think it's a competent entry, not AAA quality, and I'm sure other entries that focused on raw quality rather than learning something new will have a lot more content. But it was an educational journey, and we have something to show for it.

I will at some point write a postmortem reflecting on the game and experience, but before that I need to see how players react to the game.
